How do Points work?
With SaveUP, you’ll earn 1 Point (worth 1p) for every litre of fuel purchased.+ Once you’ve reached 500 Points, you can spend them in-store to get £5 off your fuel transaction.

How do I use my digital SaveUP card to earn Points?
Once you’ve filled up, tell the cashier that you have a SaveUP card. Then, tap your phone on the Pin Pad when prompted. In most instances, the phone will automatically open your SaveUP contactless card and the Points will be awarded to your account (please wait 48 hours for the Points to appear). You can also open your contactless SaveUP card by pressing the card button on the Valero SaveUP app or by accessing the card directly in your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
How do I delete my account?
You can cancel your SaveUP account and remove your data. Deleting your account means you won’t have access to any app features and your SaveUP card will stop working. Once disabled, it may take up to 30 days for us to fully remove your data and delete your account.
Whilst we’ll be sorry to see you go, the process is simple:
- Click on the ‘Account’ tab on the Valero SaveUP app
- Click on the ‘Support’ menu
- Click on ‘Delete Account’
- Click the blue ‘Delete Account’ button if you are sure you want to delete your account
- You will then be automatically signed out of the app and your account will be deleted within the next 30 days

How can I spend Points in-store?
Once you have over 500 Points, it’s simple to spend them in-store.
Step 1: Tell the cashier you want to spend your Points.
Step 2: Tap your digital card on the pin pad.
Step 3: Enter the value you want to spend (in £5/£10 multiples).
Step 4: Pay any remaining balance.
How can I use a digital Love2shop reward code?
Once you’ve swapped Points for a Love2shop reward code, you will find them in the vouchers section of the app.

I’ve deleted my digital SaveUP card from my phone’s wallet
You can add a new digital SaveUP card to your phone’s wallet by selecting Account > My card and tapping the link to add a new digital SaveUP card to your wallet.

What is the minimum redemption value?
500 Points (worth £5) can be spent in-store on fuel or shop goods or redeemed for a £5 reward. 250 Points can be redeemed to charity.
Refer a friend
To earn Points for referring someone to SaveUP, go to the Refer a Friend page in the Account section.
You’ll see the text “Refer a friend & both earn 150 bonus Points”.
Click on the “Share code” button and enter your friend’s email address in your email software.
Alternatively, give your friend the referral code and ask them to use that code when they register via the app, in the “Referral” field.
Once the referred person successfully enrols in the program with that referral code, 150 Points will be added to your account subject to the conditions below. The referred person will also receive 150 Points after making their first qualifying purchase.
Conditions: Referral bonus Points will only be given as a result of an existing SaveUP member recruiting a new member who successfully enrols in the SaveUP program using a valid referral code. Bonus Points are given once the new member uses a SaveUP card associated with their account to make a qualifying purchase at a Valero service station.
A SaveUP member can be awarded bonus Points for referrals for a maximum of 10 new members each calendar month.
How can I see the purchase I have made using my SaveUP card?
To see details of the Points you’ve earned and your transaction history, click on the “Account” icon and then “Transaction History”.
